
Education Secretary Arnie Duncan came dangerously close to violating the Hatch Act by urging Department of Education employees to attend the Sharpton rally. Can you imagine the reaction if a Bush Cabinet Secretary had urged their employees to attend a Glen Beck rally?


Also, "Speakers at the Sharpton rally praised Obama and took jabs at the Tea Party." while Obama's name, or the Sharpton rally were never mentioned at the Tea Party rally.
The Tea Party rally was respectful and served as a celebration of the civil rights movement. The Al Sharpton Rally also celebrated civil rights, but only through partisanship and attacks.
